Water Softener - 16 L

Hard water contains dissolved minerals. Calcium and magnesium ions are responsible for limescale deposits, which pose a risk of malfunction for machines and equipment that come into contact with water or steam. Water softening is achieved by exchanging the calcium and magnesium ions that make water hard with sodium ions in an operation called ion exchange. This exchange is carried out through a resin contained in a column.

Calcium and magnesium ions are absorbed by the resin. After a certain time, the resin becomes saturated and needs to be regenerated through a process to recharge the resin with sodium (salt solution). The Water Softener can be installed wherever the water temperature is below 45°C and the water pressure does not exceed 2 bars. Regeneration: only non-iodized salt.

Suitable only for drinking water. This water softener is compatible with coffee machines, combi ovens, dishwashers, and ice machines. Its small size is very convenient for bars and restaurants. The parts used are of the highest quality and ensure the device operates safely for a long time.

  • Optimal operating pressure: 1-2 bar. The connected device cannot be used during regeneration.
  • Maximum/minimum water pressure: from 1 to 8 bar.
  • Flow rate: 1000L/h
  • Ambient temperature: from 4°C to 35°C.
  • Water temperature: from 4°C to 25°C.
  • Connection: 3/8”.
