Krampouz is a Breton company born in 1949 specialized in the manufacturing of professional crepe makers.

In 1949, while pancakes were still being cooked on a cast iron plate in a fireplace, the first gas crepe maker was invented in Brittany. The company Krampouz, which means "crepes" in Breton, opened its doors but its rise to success only happened a few years later. In 1966, the first crepe makers were sent to New York and in 1980, the company expanded internationally. Because if crepes are known to be enjoyed by the French, they are cooked all over the world.
